Saint Matthew’s Youth Ministries are open to all girls and boys, young women and men, from the time they are ‘rising 6th graders’ through their graduation from High School. We also welcome interested adults, whether or not they are parents, to join our Youth Ministry Team!
St. Matthew's Youth where we worship, pray, grow and serve together in Christ!
All Youth are encouraged to attend one of the Services of Holy Eucharist offered every Sunday morning: at 7:45, 9:00, or 10:30 a.m. Sunday School classes are presented during the 9:00 a.m. Worship hour according to the following groupings:
All classes are ‘team taught’, i.e., by one or more adult leaders who have undergone state background checks as well as safe church training, and the curriculum is varied and relevant to their lives as Jesus’ disciples—ranging from the Sacraments and the Gospels, to living the Christian life in light of these principles.
All St. Matthew's Youth events are open to youth of Saint Matthew's, their friends and any other
youth that would like to come enjoy a night with Christian youth, being Christian is not a
pre-requisite for youth group as we welcome all youth regardless of their religious affiliation.
Youth Group is open to all middle and high school youth. We gather for two evenings each month, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. during the school year. Each evening includes dinner, an activity, and an informal time of prayer or Eucharist. Please contact the Assistant to the Rector, Jay Walton, or 215-378-8402 for more information.
February 5 - Minute to Win It, Volume 3 - New Testament Challenges.
A core part of growing in Christ is the opportunity for all youth to serve others. Saint Matthew’s provides that opportunity to all youth.
Morning of Service - The third Saturday of every month, the youth of Saint Matthew's perform service activities in the local community. We are always looking for places to serve as well as people to join us. If you are interested in joining us or know of an activity for the youth, please contact the church.
