St. Matthew’s Nursery School
St. Matthew’s Nursery School is sponsored by the church and is open to the public for enrollment. The Nursery School has been in the community for over 25 years. This fee-based, non-profit school provides the highest quality age-appropriate classes for children 2 ½ to 5 years of age. Classes run from September through June.

Size and Staffing
The school has an enrollment of approximately 120 children and a staff of more than 20 teachers, enrichment teachers, and teacher’s aides. All classes are staffed by both a certified teacher and an aide.

Mission
St. Matthew’s Nursery School cares for children in a safe and nurturing environment, while helping them grow socially, intellectually, physically and emotionally. The school provides the foundations of Christian education through the use of art, music, stories and outdoor play. All classes participate in music class, gym class and Chapel. The educational experience is enhanced through field trip, special programs and optional enrichment classes. A large fenced-in playground provides children the opportunity to explore, climb, slide and run.
The Nursery School prides itself on accepting all children regardless of their needs or abilities. The staff works very closely with county agencies to ensure that students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) are reaching their goals.
